KnownHost – This is where I host all my sites. Great if you’re into fully controlling your own servers and don’t want to share with anyone else!
Google Domains – All my domains are now purchased through Google!
WordPress.Org – Very popular and easy to use website creation tool!
Joomla – Another favorite website creation tool, with more customization and control.
Elegant Themes – Created one of my favorite themes, Divi. So many possibilities.
X – Another favorite WordPress theme. Love the different styles.
G Suite – Yes, I LOVE Google, so G Suite was a given. This is great for businesses and using the powerful gmail for your @domain.com along with the full Google Drive experience (more space & connected to your business).
Videos & Editing
Open Broadcaster Software – I’ve been using OBS for years and it’s definitely my favorite software to use in terms of recording and even streaming. You can do a lot with it and it has great quality. And better yet, it’s free!
Adobe Premiere Pro – This takes a bit to get the hang of, but I love it. Since I use all the Adobe products, it was a given that I’d continue to use this as well. I use it for all of my video editing.
Logitech HD Pro Webcam C920 – One of the best webcams out there. It’s been going strong for YEARS now, but it’s reliable and works great.
Zoom – A great program to use for 1 on 1 calls, group calls, recording, screen sharing and more!
Here’s some of my favorite stock photo sites that are free, no attribution required and are beautiful photos! Just remember to read the licenses for yourself, so you understand what “free” means.
Styled Stock is an awesome resource for feminine stock images with a variety of categories to choose from!
StockSnap has a nice collection of beautiful photos with an easy to use search, as well as download tracking, so you can see which images are the most popular.
Pexels has over 30,000 free stock photos in its collection with new ones added each month.
Burst is a great resource for entrepreneurs – as most images are original photos that were themed around business niches.
Pixabay has over a million free stock photos, vectors and illustrations, so this is a great way to get free images that aren’t just real life photos!
Adobe Illustrator – This is probably my favorite program, as I love vectors and making things from scratch.
Adobe Photoshop – My second favorite, just a great all around product.
Creative Market – An awesome site that has beautiful elements for design, fonts, themes, graphics and stock photos. There’s some great resources here!
ClickUp – My favorite project management platform for so many reasons. I used to use both Trello and Asana because I couldn’t decide which I preferred. ClickUp made that so easy for me!
Trello – However, I still do use Trello for some projects, because some clients are already comfortable with it. It’s still a great platform!
Dubsado – I went all out and bought the lifetime plan (no longer available). This does everything – invoices, contracts, payments, client portals & much more. Also the couple behind Dubsado is nothing short of amazing.
Acuity Scheduling – An amazing tool that let’s you sit back and let your clients contact you when it works for them! You can even setup payments for services & products if needed. And best of all, it syncs up to my Google Calendar (both ways!)
ScheduleOnce – I really really like Acuity, and then I found ScheduleOnce, which has some pretty awesome features. Works just as well as Acuity, but I find some things to be bit more seamless. Both are awesome.
Google Drive – I love everything Google and Drive is amazing. Cloud storage, documents, sheets, slides, you name it!
Dropbox – I love Dropbox for easily sharing files with my clients or offering download links to others. Easily syncs to your desktop & phone as well.
OneDrive – I didn’t think I would like this, but it actually works great and easily syncs to your phone. I use all 3 cloud storage to backup all my client projects.
ConvertKit – I’ve been a MailChimp girl for so long and it’s easy to use, but I looove ConvertKit. It’s very simple in terms of looks, but that’s not a bad thing at all. Sometimes the pretty templates can be a bit overkill.
